The Knoxville Healing Center

Maori Healing with Ana Goncalves (NCBTMB Provider # 1499) and Charlaine Jones

Maori Healing Level I- Self-Care of Lower Body

February 23 & 24 (12 CEUs)

Honoring our mentors Manu Korewha and Atarangi Muru.

Maori Healing promotes the opening and release of physical, emotional, and mental blockages held long in the body. Working on the central nervous system, the treatment stimulates internal organs, releases toxic waste, tension and pain. This profound work reaches into the depths of the cells, filling cleared space with new energy of life and vitality.

Maori Healing is as much physical work as it is energy work. In this Maori workshop, Ana Goncalves (Maori Bodyworker) and Charlaine Jones (Energy Alchemist) will teach how to work on your own body with the Raakaau, freeing what is no longer needed.

In this workshop you will be learning how to use the Rakau (stick) to do bodywork on yourself first. We will be doing the lower-body self care, as performed by the Maori Healers.

Ana Goncalves has been learning directly with Maori Teachers and applying Maori Healing for 7 years both in this county and in theirs. She continually supports the Maori Healers in their mission of spreading the knowledge. "The Maori Healers thought me that mind, body and spirit cannot be separated. The lesson came from feeling the work, doing the work and listening to the elders. I learned to trust the "knowing" that was already part of me."

Charlaine Jones has been a Usui Reiki Master since 1996.  A trained therapist since 2005 and studying with Elders of many traditions including the beloved Maori Elders who visit Knoxville.

Early bird special if registered by February 10, 2019 ($350.00)
Regular price if registered after February 10, 2019 ($375.00)

THIS WORKSHOP IS A PREREQUISITE FOR LEARNING FROM THE MAORI HEALERS DURING THEIR VISIT TO KNOXVILLE IN 2019

Maori Healing Level II

(14 CEUs) - Workshop Date TBA

Honoring our mentors Manu Korewha and Atarangi Muru.

Maori Healing is as much physical work as it is energy work. In this Maori workshop, Ana Goncalves (Maori Bodyworker) and Charlaine Jones (Energy Alchemist) will teach how to work on each other with the Raakaau, freeing what is no longer needed.

This is a workshop recommended to those who have taken the Maori Healing Level I (Maori Healing: Self-Care of Lower Body). You will master how to work with the short and the long Raakaau and use the tools that you were born with, such as your own feet, elbows and forearms. This is a powerful experience for all involved. The Maori give bodywork as a family unit, where healers work together complementing and empowering each other. Ana and Charlaine recreate this healing environment every time they work together.

Ana Goncalves has been learning directly with Maori Teachers and applying Maori Healing for 7 years both in this county and in theirs. She continually supports the Maori Healers in their mission of spreading the knowledge. "The Maori Healers thought me beyond mind and body. The lesson came from feeling the work, doing the work and listening to the elders. I learned to trust the "knowing" that was already part of me."
Ana's mission has been to create an environment of healing by bringing people together in a strong community.  She started The Knoxville Healing Center in 2014. The KHC is now a thriving space where she can collaborate with numerous incredible professionals.

Charlaine Jones has been a Usui Reiki Master since 1996. A trained therapist since 2005 and studying with Elders of many traditions including the beloved Maori Elders who visit Knoxville.
